Adam Edwards

Adam Edwards is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering for Payments at Block since August 2018, Adam previously held the role of Software Development Director at CareerBuilder from February 2008 to August 2018. In that position, Adam led high-performing teams in developing UIs, APIs, and cloud architecture, and was instrumental in the release of Talent Discovery, CareerBuilder's flagship recruiter search platform. Adam also played a key role in hiring and mentoring engineers, driving rapid and high-quality releases within an agile environment. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Software Engineer at ExactMed Solutions and a Research Intern at SecureWorks. Adam Edwards earned an MBA in Global Business and a BS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
