Alex Plaum

Alex Plaum is currently serving as the M&A and Treasury Tax Lead and Tax Counsel at Block since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Partner at Goodwin from June 2013 to January 2022, and as an Associate within the same firm. Additional experience encompasses a position as Law Clerk in the Office of Chief Counsel at the Internal Revenue Service in June 2011, a Legal Intern at the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, and a Business Manager at CMF Associates. Alex Plaum holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Tax Law/Taxation from New York University, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Tulane University Law School, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance & Real Estate from Temple University.
