Alyssa Chisholm

Alyssa Chisholm is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an Internal Communications Partner at Block since August 2021. Previously, Alyssa held the role of Communications Lead at Dessa, an applied machine learning startup recognized for deploying pioneering deep learning systems and conducting significant research on synthetic media and deepfake mitigation, until the company was acquired by Cash App in August 2021. Alyssa began a career in communications as an Editorial Assistant at Canada's Top 100 Employers and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto. Alyssa earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and English from the University of Toronto.
