Andrew Lane

Andrew Lane is an Engineering Manager for ML Tools and Training at Block, where they lead initiatives in machine learning and engineering. Previously, they held positions as a Senior Data Scientist and CRISPR Scientist at Mammoth Biosciences, focusing on integrating genomics and machine learning for disease diagnostics. Andrew has also worked as a Molecular Biologist at Google and as a Health Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science. They completed their postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley and earned a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Andrew's academic foundation began with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of St. Andrews.
