Asia Akins

Asia Akins is a Security Compliance Manager in Payments at Block since June 2021, following a role as the Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance Lead at DISH Network, where Asia ensured alignment with Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements. Prior experiences include various positions at DISH Network and Penn State University, with Asia serving as a subject matter expert and a learning assistant, mentoring students in security and risk analysis. Asia holds a Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security-Information Security and Forensics, as well as multiple graduate certificates and bachelor's degrees in Information Sciences and Technology and Security and Risk Analysis, all from Penn State University.
