Blake Ruddock

Blake Ruddock has extensive experience in the technology and finance sectors, currently serving as the Head of Developer Solutions at Block since May 2019, overseeing key products such as Square, Cash App Pay, Afterpay, and Clearpay. Prior roles at Square include Solutions Engineering Lead, Sales Engineering Lead, and Sales Engineer. Additionally, Blake is an investor in Italic and previously invested in Made In (with an exit in 2024). As the founder of OnTradeIQ and having worked as a Solutions Architect and iOS Engineer at Ground Signal from 2013 to 2018, Blake demonstrates a strong background in both engineering and entrepreneurship. Educational background includes attendance at Tufts University and The Hotchkiss School.
