Bohan Yao

Bohan Yao is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Block since November 2022, focusing on Cash Commerce and Afterpay Merchant Engineering. Prior experience includes a tenure at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from June 2017 to November 2022, where Bohan progressed from a Software Development Intern to a Software Development Engineer II, contributing to projects like Elastic Inference and SageMaker Inference Recommender. Furthermore, Bohan co-founded Ai Master, a startup aimed at AI education, and participated in various research and development roles, including deep learning research and the design of a robot car. Bohan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC San Diego and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business.
