Brad Antoniewicz

Brad Antoniewicz is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Detection and Response at Block since January 2020. As a co-founder of BSidesNYC since 2014, Brad has played a pivotal role in organizing the cyber security conference, handling aspects such as fundraising, marketing, and speaker coordination. Previous positions include Senior Security Engineer at Spotify, where responsibilities included incident response and community engagement, and Manager of Security Research at Cisco, overseeing multiple R&D teams. Additionally, Brad contributed to academia as a Hacker in Residence and Adjunct Professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and has held various engineering and managerial roles at McAfee, focusing on research and client security services. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business from the New York Institute of Technology.
