Chris Nasrallah is an accomplished data scientist and researcher with extensive experience in machine learning and evolutionary biology. Nasrallah began an academic career at UC Berkeley, earning a Ph.D. in Integrative Biology and receiving the Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award. Subsequent roles included a Lead Data Scientist position at MTV, delivering machine learning solutions for the organization’s news products, and various leadership positions at Square, where Nasrallah currently serves as Head of Machine Learning for Financial Crimes. Nasrallah has also contributed to significant research initiatives at prominent institutions, including the Society of Systematic Biologists, and has authored software simulating evolutionary processes and developing statistical methods for genetic variant analysis.
