Chris Zhao

Chris Zhao is a seasoned staff engineer and tech lead with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. They have worked at various companies, including Console Group, where they developed APIs in a microservices architecture, and PCCW GLOBAL Limited, where they were responsible for architecture design and technical direction. Currently, Chris serves as a Staff Engineer at Block, having previously held roles as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Afterpay. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Adelaide.
