David Kellison

David Kellison is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, focusing on payments, mergers and acquisitions, and antitrust matters. At Block, from June 2020 to September 2023, David served as Payments Counsel Lead, overseeing legal aspects of global payments and banking operations for various business units, and previously led M&A, investments, and antitrust efforts within the company. Prior to Block, David worked as Corporate Counsel at Arrivo, where foundational legal strategies were developed to support urban transportation innovations, and at Hyperloop One, handling critical legal matters for innovative transportation technology. David also contributed to corporate governance and compliance at Lionsgate and began a legal career as a Law Clerk at ANAND LAW, PCA. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an Economics Minor from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Juris Doctor from USC Gould School of Law, where a Business Law Certificate was earned.
