Emanueal Mulatu

Emanueal Mulatu, CSM, serves as a Senior Engineering Manager for Detection & Response at Block since December 2020. Prior to this role, Emanueal accumulated extensive experience at Microsoft, holding various senior management and technical program management positions from January 2006 to December 2020, where responsibilities included leading teams in Cloud Engineering, security initiatives, and incident management. Emanueal's expertise encompasses enhancing security postures, driving business revenue, and improving service reliability significantly. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at Postini (Google). Emanueal holds a Bachelor's of Science in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University, as well as training in Timeless Product Leadership from 2020.
