Frédéric Audet is a Principal Designer at Block since October 2020, focusing on leading product vision and promoting design excellence. Previously, Frédéric served as Design Lead at Nokia from February 2019 to September 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing collaboration processes and defining design quality. At Shopify, from July 2016 to December 2018, Frédéric led design for Shopify Payments and Capital, contributing to the launch of the Polaris design system and mentoring other designers. As the Founder and Principal Designer at Carbure Digital Workshop from February 2010 to June 2016, Frédéric specialized in branding and custom web/mobile development. Frédéric's early career also includes roles as Art Director at OLA Interactive Agency and as a freelance designer and front-end developer. Frédéric holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Université du Québec en Outaouais.
