Jerome Zhong

Jerome Zhong is a seasoned Staff Product Designer with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across prominent technology companies. At Cash App, Jerome serves as the Founding Design Lead for Cash App Taxes, successfully integrating a free tax filing service into the Cash App ecosystem following the acquisition of Credit Karma Tax in 2021. Previously, as a Senior Product Designer at Duolingo, Jerome led the design of the Monetization Area, driving the development of a viable premium subscription model while upholding the organization's mission of free education. Jerome's earlier role as Design Lead at 希悦Seiue involved creating SaaS products for high school management, particularly designing the first version of the company’s core product, Seiue Chalk. Jerome holds a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and dual bachelor's degrees in Advertising and Psychology from Peking University.
