Michael Weissbacher

Michael Weissbacher is an experienced security engineer with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Staff Security Engineer at Block since July 2018, Weissbacher previously held the role of Senior Security Engineer within the same organization. Prior to Block, significant experience includes a Research Assistant position at Northeastern University, focusing on computer security issues such as web security, privacy, and vulnerability discovery. Weissbacher has also worked as a Senior Engineer for the Federal Ministry of Defence in Austria and as a Junior Specialist at UC Santa Barbara.
