Monica Bui

Monica Bui is a Senior Software Engineer at Block, having started in July 2021 after previously holding roles of Software Engineer 2 and Software Engineer. Monica's earlier experience includes a Software Engineer internship at Square, where work focused on the Dashboard Team led to significant UI improvements and product promotions. Prior to that, Monica contributed as an Open Source Developer at Review Board and as a Software Developer Co-op at Intuit, where efforts resulted in impactful features for online billing and customer-facing applications. Monica began the journey in technology as a Software Developer Intern at ATB Financial and has also served as a Science Summer Camp Leader at the University of Alberta. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alberta.
