Nicholas Latourette is currently the Head of Engineering at Block, where they continue to innovate in the tech industry. They co-founded Sliderule and served as CTO from 2020 to 2024, having previously held roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Flexport and a Forward Deployed Engineer at Palantir Technologies. Nicholas began their career with software internships at Illumina and Quantifind while earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. Their early experience includes being a TA at Stanford in 2013 and serving as the first Software Engineer at FR8Star.
