Nidhi N.

Nidhi N. currently serves as the Head of Patents and Open Source at Block since February 2015, leading a team responsible for global patent matters and overseeing the open source program, which includes policy development and community engagement. Previously, Nidhi held roles such as Patent Portfolio Manager at Block, where strategic patent portfolio management and technical analysis for litigation were key responsibilities. As a Visiting Lecturer at the University of California, Davis, from August 2023 to January 2024, Nidhi focused on Patent Preparation and Prosecution. Nidhi's early career includes positions as a Technical Advisor at Chadbourne & Parke LLP, a Patent Engineer at MEI, Inc., and a Senior Associate and Patent Agent at LakshmiKumaran and Sridharan, with a foundation in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. Nidhi began the professional journey as a Systems Analyst at Pfizer, contributing to the global DBMS project.
