Rayhane Mama

Rayhane Mama is a highly skilled professional in the field of deep learning and machine learning, currently serving as a Deep Learning Researcher at Block since March 2024, focusing on audio generative models. Previously, Rayhane held the position of Machine Learning Modeler at Block from February 2020 to June 2023, where contributions included innovations in audio-to-video generation and hierarchical VAEs for image generation, alongside work on CashApp risk mitigation. At Dessa, from October 2019 to June 2023, Rayhane designed deep learning solutions for financial challenges and created life-like DeepFakes to raise awareness about associated risks. Earlier experience includes roles as an AI Resident at Dessa, where engagement in various deep learning applications occurred, and as a Deep Learning and TTS Developer at DeepZen, focusing on Text-to-Speech systems. Rayhane’s career began with a Data Scientist Internship at Empower IT, implementing clustering models for accounting problems.
