Steve Reis

Steve Reis is an accomplished product leader with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. Currently serving as the Head of Product for the Block Financial Platform at Block since October 2020, Reis oversees a team focused on payments, money movement, and issuing services. Previously, Reis held multiple leadership roles at Square, including Head of Product for the Square Platform and Square Payments, where responsibilities spanned onboarding sellers, payment processing, and developing third-party integration solutions. As Co-founder and CEO of Sygn, Reis developed a streamlined payment authentication method, leading to the company's acquisition by Square. Experience at Amazon includes pivotal roles in payment acceptance and international payment expansion. Reis's early career involved consulting at Deloitte and contributions to social impact initiatives at Blue Ridge Foundation. Reis holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
