Terry Yiu

Terry Yiu has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Block since June 2015. In this role, Terry developed critical infrastructure for experimentation and feature flags, established a localization platform, and created internal automated tools for hiring logistics, participating in hiring committees and reviewing feedback for over 200 candidates. Previous positions at Square included Engineering Manager, where Terry increased team size and led efforts to modernize public APIs, resulting in improved authentication processes. Earlier career highlights include senior engineering roles at Zynga and Qualcomm, with a strong focus on performance optimization and API development. Terry holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and has also engaged in continuing education at Stanford.
