Tyler Hand

Tyler Hand currently serves as the Head of Compliance for Cash App at Block, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Tyler Hand had an extensive tenure at Western Union, serving as Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President, Global Head of Sanctions, Interdiction & Anti-Corruption from June 2014 to November 2022. Tyler's earlier experience includes roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where responsibilities ranged from Assistant Chief Counsel in the Office of the Chief Counsel (Foreign Assets Control) to Acting Assistant Director for Enforcement at the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Tyler Hand began a legal career as an Associate at Holland & Hart LLP. Tyler earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont.
