Yue Zhao

Yue Zhao is a highly skilled machine learning engineer with extensive experience in developing data-driven solutions to prevent and detect financial fraud at Block since January 2022. Prior to this role, Yue Zhao served as a Senior ML Research Scientist at Arm, focusing on efficient neural network design through a latency-aware multi-objective neural architecture approach. Experience includes building machine learning proof of concepts for IoT applications and conducting significant research on Federated Learning to enhance accuracy in edge devices. Yue Zhao also held various positions at Washington University School of Medicine, advancing quantitative MRI techniques for Alzheimer’s disease research and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Yue Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative MRI and Computational Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Nankai University.
