Glenn Goldstein

Glenn Goldstein is an accomplished technology strategist and executive with extensive experience in the media and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor for Blockcast, Goldstein provides guidance on product and strategic direction for innovative content delivery networks. As a Technical Fellow for the Streaming Video Technology Alliance, contributions include driving cooperation and developing standards for video streaming technologies. Previous roles include consulting at Lumen Technologies, where Goldstein focused on product strategy for CDN and edge-computing solutions, and a significant tenure at Viacom as SVP, Chief Technology Convergence Officer, overseeing technology portfolios and fostering convergence in video distribution. Goldstein’s career also features leadership roles at MTV Networks and Associated Press, developing digital platforms and systems that have shaped the industry's transition to digital media. Goldstein holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Software Engineering from Tufts University.
