Matthew Raymer completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Computer Science, and Mathematics from Western Kentucky University in 1992. Matthew then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the same university between 1993 and 1995. However, their time at North Carolina State University in 1992-1993 was incomplete, indicating that they did not finish their degree in Physics there.
