Ismail Malik

Ismail Malik has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as the CEO & Founder of Blockchain Lab since December 2012. At Blockchain Lab, they specialize in crypto development projects and placement of lead developers. Ismail also conducts research on secure embedded smart contract trusted execution environments on Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Corda blockchains.

In 2023, Ismail joined NFT Cube as the Team Chief. Prior to this, they served as the Editor-in-Chief of Web3 Newspaper starting from December 2021. Ismail also held the position of Chief Product Officer at iBike from August 2021.

Ismail has been involved in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry for a while. In 2020, they became a Founding Investor at NFT PAD and a Supply Chain Analyst at ChainStor. In 2022, they took on the role of Web3 Ecosystem Advisor at Metabloqs.

Before their ventures in the blockchain industry, Ismail worked as a Stable Coin Analyst at StableCash from February 2017. Ismail was also the Head of Research at DeFi Magazine starting from October 2016.

Lastly, Ismail's work experience includes their role as an Olympic Cricket Lobbyist at the Olympic Regional Development Authority, a position they held since January 2004.

Ismail Malik attended Birkbeck, University of London from 1996 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in International Relations with a field of study in the History of London. During the same period, they also studied at the School of Advanced Study, University of London, focusing on Commonwealth Networking and England Studies. Additionally, they enrolled at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, where they specialized in Warburgism with a field of study in Warburg Library. From 1996 to 2012, Ismail Malik studied Cyber Geography at UCL, concentrating on Urban Hubs & Virtual Networking. Finally, they pursued a degree in Anglo Judaic Diaspora with a field of study in Imperial Cricket & Commonwealth at SOAS University of London from 1995 to 2012.
