Matt Buchanan

Matt Buchanan is currently the Head of Financial Crime Compliance and UK MLRO at Blockchain.com, where they oversee the global financial crimes compliance program. They have held significant roles in financial compliance, including positions as the Global Head of Compliance at Checkout.com and Financial Crime Compliance Director at Standard Chartered Bank. Previously, Matt served as a Project Manager for both the Australian and UK governments, focusing on process improvement and justice initiatives. They also held a Director position at Deloitte, delivering financial crime engagements across the APAC region. Additionally, Matt is a trustee for the Seeds for Growth charity and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
