Matthieu Riou

Matthieu Riou is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture and platform development. As the Founder and CTO of BlockCypher since December 2013, Matthieu has focused on creating a Platform-as-a-Service for cryptocurrencies. Matthieu's contributions also include freelance work for Joyent, where a load balancer solution was developed, and co-founding MommaZoo, a community platform for parents. Matthieu has been a member of The Apache Software Foundation since 2007, leading the Apache ODE project and supporting the Apache Incubator. Previous roles include senior technical staff at C3, architect at Intalio, and consulting for various financial institutions. Matthieu holds a Diplome d'Ingenieur in Software and Artificial Intelligence from Ecole des Mines d'Alès.
