Sam Kim

Sam Kim has a diverse work background in the legal field. Sam is currently serving as the Head of Legal at Blockdaemon. Prior to this, they worked at Coinbase as the Head of Legal for Coinbase Cloud, where they provided strategic advice on various regulatory matters. Before that, Sam held multiple roles at Microsoft, including Head of Legal for the Cloud & Security Businesses and Assistant General Counsel for Windows Marketing and Microsoft 365 Marketing. Sam has also worked at Dickstein Shapiro LLP and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where they focused on corporate and securities matters. Sam began their legal career at Troutman Pepper, where they were an Associate specializing in corporate and securities matters.

Sam Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Yale University, a Master of Public Policy degree in International Trade and Finance from Harvard University, and a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
