Brett Munster

Brett Munster is a portfolio manager and head of fundamental research at Blockforce Capital. Brett has also worked at Onramp Invest, Slingshot Aerospace, AppliedVR, and Sway Ventures.

Brett Munster is a two-time entrepreneur and former operations executive. Brett has a degree from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Brett's focus is on entrepreneurship and technology commercialization.

Brett began their career at zAthlete.com, a sports social networking startup that they launched during their final semester at UC Berkeley and sold in 2009. Soon after, Brett launched their second start-up Visual Icon, a platform designed to help bring Hollywood content online.

At Sway Ventures, Brett focuses most of their investment activities on the seed and earlier stages for the fund. In addition to evaluating new investments, Brett's responsibilities include coordinating the due diligence process across all investment opportunities for the fund, monitoring performance of the fund, modeling portfolio allocation, and working directly with many of Sway's existing portfolio companies.

Brett draws on their experience as a two-time entrepreneur and former operations executive to assist early stage companies in their growth. Prior to joining Sway Ventures, Brett ran day-to-day operations for AMO, a loss mitigation company, where they oversaw a portfolio of distressed assets that grew to over $2 billion.

Brett Munster is an entrepreneur and technology commercialization specialist. Brett has a BS from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and an Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization degree from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business.

They work with Keith Harmon - CFO, Kasey Price - Chief Compliance Officer, and Zhuokang Feng - Portfolio Manager & Head of Trading. Brett Munster reports to Eric Ervin, CEO & CIO.
