Aljosja Beije

Aljosja Beije has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Aljosja is currently serving as the Co-Founder of DecentralCode since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Researcher at Windesheim from September 2021. Aljosja also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Docklab from July 2017. Aljosja gained experience in the academic field as an MBA Lecturer at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business from May 2021. Additionally, they held the position of Technical Director at Naviporta from April 2021 to March 2022. Earlier in their career, Aljosja was the Co-owner & Managing Consultant at BeSCOPE Solutions B.V., where they held various roles including Product Manager and Information Security Management Consultant. Aljosja also served as a Blockchain Start-Up Mentor at YES!Delft and conducted research as a Researcher in Supply Chain Management and Blockchain at Politecnico di Milano. Aljosja's experience also includes serving as the Chairman of Stichting Exsyting and working as an Instructor at Webster University.

Aljosja Beije's education history begins with their time at Het Kompas from 1978 to 1984. After that, they attended RSG Brielle from 1984 to 1991, where they did not pursue a degree or a specific field of study. Later, from 1991 to 2003, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam and obtained a Master of Science degree in Operations Research and Business Administration.

In addition to their formal education, Aljosja Beije has also obtained several certifications. In 2009, they received a certification in Oracle SOA Suite 10g: Service Orchestration from Vijfhart, and in 2009, they obtained a certification in Oracle BI repository design, also from Vijfhart. In 2010, they obtained the PRINCE2 - Practitioner certification from Global Project Performance, and also completed Quintiq E-learning courses on SOA, Quill, and Project Management offered by Quintiq.
