Jamsheed Shorish

Jamsheed Shorish is the CEO and Founder of Shorish Research (Belgium), which provides consulting services for Computational Business and disruptive financial technologies. He holds Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Economics from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University (USA), and has over 20 years of experience in academic teaching and research in computational and financial economics. His current research includes work on distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) and the valuation of cryptographically-supported DLT tokens. He also has published work on asset pricing, market games, dynamic optimization problems, and the study of socio-economic network formation and structure. Dr. Shorish is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Australian National University (Australia), and is a Visiting Researcher at the Research Institute for Cryptoeconomics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria).
