Theresa M. is a finance expert with international experience and a diverse background in startup environments, business development, and compliance. They founded Beckett Collective, a fee-only RIA focused on investment management and tax structuring, and serve as COO/CFO at BlockSpaces, driving innovation in Bitcoin-native smart contract execution. An advisor to Base58, a Bitcoin protocol school, and a board member of Bitcoin Arabia, they actively contribute to the expansion of Bitcoin education and adoption. Previously, they held key roles at Investec Merchant Bank, where they established new departments in treasury, swaps, and derivatives, and gained extensive experience in corporate lending and project finance. Currently, they are pursuing a certificate in Financial Planning at Georgetown University and completing a Master of Commerce in Financial Management at the University of Cape Town.
