Basak Haznedaroglu

Basak Haznedaroglu has a long and varied work experience. Basak began their career in 2011 as an Innovation Fellow for Teachers College, Columbia University. In 2012, they took on the role of Interaction Design & Information Architecture for Fluid. In 2013, they were Co-Founder & Creative Director for D-impactum and Product Design Lead for Foursquare. In 2016, they moved to Microsoft as a Senior Design Manager. In 2017, they became the Director of Design for InVision. In 2019, they were a Design Consultant & Coach for B.Work and a Mentor for Techstars. In 2020, they were the Director of Product Design for SoundCloud, and in 2022 they will become the Head of Design for Blockstream, building experiences for Bitcoin and blockchain technologies and forming the foundations for the financial infrastructure of the future.

Basak Haznedaroglu holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design - The New School. Basak also holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Integrated Product Design from Fachhochschule Coburg, University of Applied Science, Germany.
