Christian Decker

Christian Decker has worked at a variety of companies since 2005. Christian began their career as a Software Engineer at Functional Genomics Center Zurich. In 2008, they took on a role as a Praktikum als Software Architect at Comerge AG. From 2012 to 2016, they were a PHD Candidate and Research Assistant at ETH Zurich. In 2014, they were a Site Reliability Engineer Intern at Google. From 2016 to 2022, they were a Lead Engineer and Core Tech Engineer at Blockstream. Currently, they are a Board Member at Brink Technology.

Christian Decker obtained a Bachelor in Computer Science from ETH Zürich in 2009, followed by a Master in Computer Science from the same institution in 2012. Christian then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Distributed Computing - Bitcoin from ETH Zürich in 2016.
