James Macedonio

James Macedonio is an experienced executive with a professional career spanning over two decades. In 1993, they began their career at Bear Stearns as a Director, where they managed a diverse group of 150+ professionals with a budget of over $50 million. In 2002, they joined GTP as a Management Consultant. Following this, they worked at AIG from 2003-2005 as an IT Strategy and Program/Project Management professional. In 2005, they joined AXA Advisors as a Management Consultant, developing a project release strategy and managing the conversion of $5.4 billion 401k business. From 2006-2009, they worked at Credit Suisse as a Management Consultant, where they were responsible for the Equities Global (7x) Capacity Program. In 2009, they joined Savvis as a Sr Director - Solutions Consulting & Engineering - Financial Vertical, where they headed the financial vertical professional services sales and delivery. In 2010, they moved to Service Mesh, which was later acquired by CSC, as the Sr. Vice President of Advisory Services & Sales. From 2011-2015, they worked at Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director, where they lead the strategy and program management office for the rebuild of Morgan's electronic trading plant. In 2015, they joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Sr. Sales Specialist/Business Development Manager, and later held the role of North America Alliance Head for Deloitte. In 2021, they began their current role as the Sr. Vice President - Global Head of Mining Sales and Business Development at Blockstream.
