Jim Dennis

Jim Dennis has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1990. Jim began their career as a Proprietor at Starshine Technical Services, followed by a Linux Consultant role at VERITAS Software in 2005. Later in 2005, they became a Senior IT Systems Engineer at Cadence Design Systems. In 2009, they moved to Yahoo! as a Senior Service Engineer. In 2012, they joined Ooyala as a Site Reliability Engineer, and then went on to work as a Senior Operations Engineer at MachineZone and Zscaler Inc. in 2013. Jim then moved to Symantec in 2014 as a Senior Devops: Site Reliability Engineering, and finally became a Senior DevOps Engineer at Blockstream in 2016.

Jim Dennis received their High School Diploma from Portland Community College in 1982. In 2016, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp in the field of Computer Software Engineering.
