Jasper Grootscholten

Jasper Grootscholten is a quantitative trader currently employed at BlockTech B.V., specializing in trading Bitcoin and Ethereum options since March 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a trader at Optiver from March 2022 to February 2023, focusing on single stock options, and participation in the Faector Excellence Programme on Blockchain and Econometrics in early 2019. Jasper holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from both ETH Zürich and the University of Zurich, obtained between 2020 and 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Econometrics from Erasmus School of Economics, completed in 2020. An exchange semester in Mathematics was undertaken at Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2019, preceded by earning a VWO degree in Natuur en Techniek from Coornhert Gymnasium between 2011 and 2017.
