Blockworks Group welcomes Courtney Carimando, Tyler Neville and Jayne Ritter

Media company BlockWorks Grouphas hired Courtney Carimando as Brand Partner, Tyler Neville as Senior Editor, and Jayne Ritter as Campaign Coordinator. Courtney has nearly 15 years of experience working in sales positions across a diverse range of media and advertising companies. In her new role, she will be based in New York City and report to company co-founder Jason Yanowitz. Courtney comes to BlockWorks Group from InMobi where she served as a Sales Director from 2016 to 2018. Courtney was a Sales Manager for TripAdvisor from 2014 to 2016, and a Sales Executive for music, podcast and radio streaming company Pandora from 2010 to 2014. She started her career as Southeast Advertising Manager for American Media from 2006 to 2010, before stints at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and Newsweek and The Daily Beast. Courtney is a graduate of Hunter College. She has a motorcycle license and has never had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Tyler comes to Blockworks from Real Vision, where he was an Editorial Director and Business Development. In his new role, he’ll be based in Austin, Texas; the fifth city he’s lived in in 10 years. Tyler has also worked as a consultant at Bailey Park Group, assisting with recruitment in the asset management industry. He has significant experience working in trading across the U.S., serving in a range of roles for Marcato Capital Management, Franklin Templeton, Haber Trilix Advisors and HIG Capital. He started his career as an analyst for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods in August 2007. Tyler graduated from Boston College with a Bachelors & Masters in English and Administrative Studies. He has two children, who he jokes don’t let him sleep anymore. Jayne Ritter brings extensive hospitality experience to Blockworks Group, where she will be based in Miami, Florida. She most recently worked in sales and marketing for luxury accommodation Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach. Prior to that, she worked on a Revenue Management Development Program for the Hilton Hotel chain, where she’d also been a Human Resources Intern and Campus Ambassador. Jayne completed a range of internships while studying at Michigan State University, where she graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Business. She interned in the front office at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, as a hospitality intern at Great Wolf Lodge, and at Kentlands Mansion. She also worked as a hostess at Cafe Deluxe in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Jayne also served as a volunteer for Destination Detroit, and volunteered as an Administrative Assistant for Jewish healthcare provider Yodeah. She has a certification in Business Analytics from Cornell University, and has previously held a ServSafe Certification. In her spare time, she enjoys making flower arrangements and practicing yoga.
