David Millman

David Millman is the Co-Founder & CTO at BLOCKY. David was previously a software engineer at Nowsta, Inc. from November 2015 to July 2017. David was also the Director Of Engineering at ProductionPro from February 2014 to December 2015. Prior to that, they were a Senior Engineer at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory from February 2013 to February 2014, where they derived and implemented a compact representation for objects defined by Boolean operations of implicit surfaces. David also applied advanced techniques from computational topology and numeric computational geometry to create a topologically consistent algorithm that ensures robust particle tracking in physical simulations without the need for exact arithmetic. In addition, they designed and implemented algorithms for computing and modifying geometric properties (such as bounding boxes, volume, etc.) for constructive solid geometry (CSG) representations used for solving the transport equation.

David Millman's educational career began at Newark Academy, where they completed their BA in Computer Science. David then went on to earn their Master of Science in Computer Science from New York University. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Their manager is Taylor Heinecke, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Sara Iverson - Blockchain Research Head, Mike Wittie - Co-Founder & Head of Research, and Ian Hecker - Software Engineer.
