Alex Husted

Alex Husted is an experienced professional currently serving as a Capital Strategist at The Ohio State University, where annual research and development expenditures exceed $1.5 billion. In addition, Alex holds positions as a Board Observer at AssetWatch®, a company focusing on predictive maintenance for the industrial market, and Lentechs, which is developing innovative solutions for presbyopia through the APIOC™ contact lens platform. As a Mentor with Techstars, Alex supports early-stage entrepreneurs during their intensive accelerator program. Furthermore, Alex advises Blomso, a technology company that offers real-time soil sensing for precision agriculture. Previous experience includes serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at 1870 Ventures, founding Uleet, a marketplace for healthcare services, and working as a Product Manager at Health2047 Inc., a venture studio backed by the American Medical Association. Alex's educational background includes time at UCLA and the University of Dayton.
