Wendy Knowles

Wendy Knowles is a seasoned professional in the field of transfusion medicine and healthcare administration, currently serving as the Senior Director of Hospital Services at Vitalant since August 2017. With a strong background at BloodSource, where roles included Transfusion Safety Officer and Vice President, Wendy has contributed significantly to patient blood management programs and operational strategies focused on quality clinical outcomes. Prior experience includes positions at Gambro Healthcare as a Dialysis RN and several roles at BloodSource, ranging from Project Specialist to Director of the Hemapheresis Center. Wendy holds a Master's degree in Health Administration with a focus on Human Resources from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from California State University, Chico.
