David Sam

David Sam has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. David is currently employed at Bloom Energy as a Principal NPI Mechanical Engineer, a role they began in 2022 after serving as a Sr. Staff NPI Mechanical Engineer from 2019 to 2022. Prior to Bloom Energy, David worked at Whipsaw as a Staff Mechanical Engineer from 2016 to 2019. David also worked at Orbit Baby as a Sr. Product Development Engineer from 2012 to 2016, where they were responsible for designing new products and managing projects. Before that, David worked at Hawk Ridge Systems as a Technical Support Engineer from 2010 to 2012, providing design and engineering support in SolidWorks. David started their career at Xicom Technologies Ltd as a Manufacturing Specialist Contractor in 2009 and worked as a Mechanical Engineer Summer Intern at Nationwide Boiler Inc. in 2008.

David Sam obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2009. David also holds additional certifications, including being a SolidWorks Certified Expert and SolidWorks Certified Professional from DS SolidWorks Corporation, and an Engineer-In-Training from the Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, all obtained between 2009 and 2012.
