Jan Bator

Jan Bator began their work experience in 2012 as a Ruby on Rails developer at nibynic, where they contributed to the implementation of small and medium-sized applications. Jan then joined XING in 2015, starting as a Junior Software Engineer and eventually moving up to Senior Software Engineer. At XING, Jan was involved in various projects, including implementing, monitoring, and maintaining a Ruby on Rails API responsible for delivering content to millions of users. Jan also played a key role in managing and implementing refactoring initiatives to improve development time. In 2020, Jan took on a remote Senior Software Engineer role at XING, where they oversaw the overhaul of the main content delivery application. Most recently, Jan joined Bloom & Wild in 2022 as a Ruby on Rails Developer.

Jan Bator completed their Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Studies with a specialization in Electronic Information Processing at Jagiellonian University from 2009 to 2012. Jan further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's Degree in Electronic Information Processing from 2012 to 2014.
