Mavis Liu

Mavis Liu has a diverse range of work experience. Mavis is currently working as an Analytics Specialist at Bloom & Wild since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Analyst and Front End Team Lead at kleene.ai from January 2022 to May 2022. At kleene.ai, they led the front-end analytics team, utilized Tableau and Power BI for data insights and visualizations, and developed SQL-based data pipelines.

From October 2019 to January 2022, Mavis served as the BI and Insights Manager at Bionic, where they focused on Tableau COE Insights Reporting, leveraged Salesforce CRM data for insights, and led project planning and execution. From March 2017 to September 2019, they worked as an Analytics Consultant at InterWorks, developing interactive dashboards and data stories for various industries, managing stakeholders, and leading sales enablement sessions.

Prior to that, Mavis was a Senior Analyst at BravoSolution from January 2016 to March 2017, where they led spend analysis projects and supported the design and configuration of in-house spend analysis software solutions. Mavis also previously worked as a Spend Analyst at BravoSolution from August 2014 to January 2016, managing multiple projects and utilizing SQL and SSIS packages for data analysis.

Mavis began their career as a Market Data Analyst at MDSL from September 2013 to August 2014, where they managed market data inventory, analyzed spend, and processed invoices for clients in the banking and brokerage industries. Mavis also gained experience at J. Salmon Arts Printers and Publishers, where they worked in the Finishing Department during the summers of 2012 and 2013.

Mavis Liu completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics from the University of Exeter between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they attended Tonbridge Grammar School from 2005 to 2010, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Additionally, Mavis has obtained various certifications in data visualization software such as Tableau and Alteryx. Mavis became a Tableau Community Leader in May 2020, earned the Alteryx Designer Core certification in November 2018, and became a Tableau Desktop Certified Professional in August 2018. Furthermore, they acquired the Tableau Certified Trainer certification in September 2017 and the Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate certification in March 2017. Mavis is also recognized as a Tableau Ambassador since August 2018.
