Ayturk Markowitz

Ayturk Markowitz has extensive experience in finance, engineering, and strategy, currently serving as the Head of CTO and Engineering Finance at Bloomberg since December 2024. Previously, Ayturk held several key roles at Goldman Sachs from 2003 to 2024, including Head of Strategy and Product for the Global Banking and Markets Division, where Ayturk founded a new digital business and led a team of 90 professionals. Ayturk has a proven track record in data strategy, having established a data engineering function that grew from 4 to 450 professionals in just two years. Additionally, Ayturk has experience as a Partner and CAO at Grove International Partners, managing global portfolio management and investor relations. Ayturk's educational background includes a PhD candidacy in Digital Ecosystem Strategy from Antwerp Management School and advanced degrees in International Development and International Relations.
