Barbara Farrell

Barbara Farrell is an accomplished talent acquisition leader with a robust background in recruitment and engineering. Currently serving as Global Head of Recruitment for Software Engineering and COO of Talent Acquisition at Bloomberg, Barbara has been instrumental in designing and implementing a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy since January 2022. Prior experience includes overseeing engineering hiring as Global Recruitment Manager at Bloomberg, along with a role as Talent Acquisition Lead for Technology at Pearson from February 2015 to March 2017. Earlier career highlights include serving as Senior Consultant, Account Manager, and Team Lead at Ambition between May 2008 and July 2014. Barbara holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Galway, earned from January 2001 to December 2004.
