Ben Bartenstein

Ben Bartenstein is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in energy, commodities, and finance reporting for Bloomberg since January 2016. Bartenstein has held various roles, including correspondent based in the EMEA HQ, Middle East correspondent, and Latin America correspondent, focusing on key developments in geopolitics and economic crises across multiple regions. Before joining Bloomberg, Bartenstein reported for Macalester College and Minnesota Public Radio, as well as contributed to various publications including the St. Paul Pioneer Press and The Colorado Springs Gazette. Bartenstein holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies, Geography, and Human Rights from Macalester College, as well as credentials in Journalism and Business Journalism from the School for International Training and The Wharton School, respectively. Additionally, Bartenstein serves as a guest lecturer on Latin American Politics at Macalester College.
