Claire Yan

Claire Yan is a software engineer currently working at Bloomberg since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Maker Mentor at the Wond'ry and dual software engineer internships at Meta and Oculus VR in the summer of 2022. Claire has also held positions such as a Customer Service Associate at Events at Vanderbilt and a Growth and Engagement Intern at Polis Analysis. Participation in the Engineering Possibilities Summit at Goldman Sachs and a Residential Teaching Associate position at New Jersey Governor's School of Engineering & Technology highlight Claire's commitment to education and mentoring. In 2018, Claire was selected as a Fellow in a prestigious program, where a research paper on creating a habitable artificial satellite for recreational use was published, and the research was presented at prominent conferences. Claire Yan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Economics from Vanderbilt University, alongside a semester at The University of Edinburgh.
