David Gold

David Gold is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP, where they develop low latency streaming applications using modern C++. They previously served as a Computer Science Research Associate at Oberlin College, where they coordinated a student team in restoring a nonfunctioning supercomputer and applied machine learning to stock market data. David has also worked as a Part-Time Application Developer at Sandia Preparatory School, enhancing access to school information through an iOS application. Their experience includes roles in NLP research and as a Physics and Astronomy Intern, where they contributed to particle trajectory simulations. David completed a financial modeling boot camp through Training The Street, further broadening their skill set in finance.
